I am looking for a band 6/7 OT to become part of a permanent multidisciplinary therapy teams in schools About the role of School Based Occupational Therapist School-based occupational therapists focus on addressing educational needs to promote students' participation and performance in school. This may involve focusing on sensory and functional needs, as well as social skills. As an OT based in SEND school settings, you will look at the whole child, tackling individual tasks, helping students find ways to do the things they need and want to do. You will liaise closely with the multi-disciplinary clinical team to provide an intensive treatment service.
