I am looking for an experienced Mentor to join a welcoming and supportive Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the London Borough of Wandsworth.
The school has a wide variety of pupils on roll, including those who are excluded or dual registered, those undergoing statutory assessment or those without an EHCP. Many pupils have faced challenges within mainstream schools, and some continue to be challenging within the PRU, but there is a strong staff team helping the young people manage their behaviour within a supportive and caring school-like environment. The school is looking for an active and vibrant Mentor to join the team as early as possible.

Main Responsibilities of PRU Mentor
To enable all pupils to have access to learning and assist the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom.
To undertake learning, care or support programmes for individuals or groups of pupils.
To support programmes for teaching communication, literacy and numeracy, working with pupils on their Individual Education plans, and assisting pupils in accessing the entire curriculum.
To help organise personalised classroom activities, prepare resources and maintain the learning environment.

About the Role of School Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT)
This is an exciting opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to join a big team of multi-disciplinary therapists to drive forward development and rehabilitation programmes.
