I am working with a fantastic school who are looking for an engaging and passionate 1:1 Behaviour Mentor for a year 4 student with Autism and SEMH needs. The children attending this school may have challenging and disruptive behaviour, they may or may not have a SEN diagnosis, EHCP (Education Health Care Plan). I am looking to speak to professional and committed Behaviour Mentors, even if your experience is informal/voluntary, we want to hear from you! 1:1 Behaviour Mentor requirements Essential - Passion for working with young people who require additional support in order to access education and social development Beneficial - Experience of working with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties, or experience with SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, social communication Beneficial - Youth Mentor/Worker experience Essential - Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships What you can expect as a 1:1 Behaviour Mentor You will have a natural ability to build a good rapport with young people and become a positive role model. Be able to act as strong role model and set clear boundaries.
