Parker Smith Inclusion is excited to be working in partnership with a privately-funded paediatric therapy clinic known for its specialisation in sensory integration therapy. They have a commitment to providing assessments and therapy to children and young adults aged 0 to 21 years, with a current client base between 2 and 9 years, makes them an essential service for many families. With expansion on the horizon, they are actively recruiting for Speech & Language Therapist to support their growth and help to set up the speech and language service at the clinic.
As a paediatric Speech & Language Therapist you will play a crucial role in helping children achieve their communication & language development goals.
The successful candidate will:
Provide speech & language and communication assessments and therapy services for children as well as offer support and guidance to their families
Keep accurate records and provide written reports
Set targets for therapy and monitor progress
Provide intervention as required
Hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision
They will have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Being able to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of the therapy and wider MDTs
Able to show flexibility to working demands.
To be able to show initiative and motivation to work with the rest of the team to develop this new service
