Have you just graduated from university and are now looking to gain some experience working with children with SEN?
Are you an aspiring Clinical Psychologist, Child Psychologist, Social Worker, or Pastoral Worker? If so this role could offer you the necessary experience to achieve your career goal!
We are currently working with an outstanding school based in the London Borough of Newham that is an all through school from Early Years - Sixth Form, they have an autism provision and children on EHCPs within the MS School as well, they are looking for recent graduates to join them to start their journey within SEN Education.
With beautiful surroundings and fantastic facilities, this school caters to children from 3 to 19. The older children's daily learning focuses on providing them with life skills so that they can become more independent. This could include taking the students to local cafes, parks, supermarkets, and restaurants and carrying out work experience. The school focuses on what style of learning works for each child, encouraging them to develop new skills at their own pace.

I am working with an outstanding mainstream primary school in Islington who are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their friendly team. The child that the successful candidate will be supporting is in year 1 and has ASD, he also wears a nappy so some personal care is required. The role requires someone who has experience with ASD and can be patient and calming.
This 1:1 Learning Support Assistant role would really suit applicants with experience working with children with SEN in a school environment, however the school may consider applicants who personal experience with SEN, or who truly care about having a positive effect on the lives of SEN children.
