I am working with an amazing and truly inspiring specialist setting that caters to students whose needs include severe SEMH, trauma and ASC, the primary aged students who have not had their needs met in mainstream schools and other provisions, this setting strongly believe in a no-exclusions policy and all staff are committed to working hard to nurture every student into becoming a confident and happy individual who will enjoy learning. They have small classrooms of 3 or 4 children and different areas in the setting dependant on severity of needs. They have an excellent Art, Occupational and SaLT on site that deliver interventions on a one-to-one basis or small group sessions. This setting really is a remarkable place to work with a remarkable SLT. It is always desirable to have worked in a similar specialist setting before but if you are an experienced mainstream primary teacher who has the passion to fully commit to teaching and nurturing students with SEN then please get in touch.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but unqualified teachers with SEMH teaching experience are also welcome to apply
Understanding of trauma / ACEs / Nurture
Understanding of SEN and the ability to differentiate teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A commitment to working collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to provide a cohesive learning environment

Understanding their SEMH needs must be met before any academic development can happen. Understanding their SEMH needs is essential in these roles and we are seeking individuals who can make a positive impact.
We are looking for a Creative Arts Teacher for a specialist SEMH school based in East London. The school caters for students who are unable to access mainstream education and have very complex mental health needs. The students will have suffered many adverse childhood experiences including trauma and require a therapeutic approach to their learning and support.
SEMH Teacher
Positive role model to support communication, with a sensitive, nurturing, and consistent approach

We are working with a fantastic primary school in Southwark with an Autism Provision (ASC Provision) to find someone to support one of the SEN Classes. Within this role you will work within a classroom with yourself, another Teaching Assistant and the SEN Teacher to support around 10 to 12 students. Within the class, the students work around KS1 level, with lessons mostly consisting of play based activities and you will be assisting with these, helping the students both with academic and personal development.
Additionally, there is a role available to work 1:1 with a child with autism within one of the mainstream classes for the right candidate.
