About the Role
KS4 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Redbridge
Do you have a passion and talent for supporting children and young people who cannot access mainstream education and mental health disorders?
I am actively seeking an engaging and passionate KS4 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work in a SEMH specialist setting that provides education to children who are unable to be educated in a mainstream school due to their social emotional and mental health needs. I am looking to speak to professional and committed KS4 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work in a SEMH setting in the Redbridge area/ The role is working within the secondary department supporting behaviour and learning in class settings. The role will include a teaching timetable so previous experience teaching or covering classes is desirable. You will be tasked with supporting a Year 11 student with social emotional and mental health needs.
KS4 1:1 Teaching Assistant requirements:
● Experience of working with young people with SEMH, Autism, behavioural issues, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication
● KS4 1:1 Teaching Assistant experience
● Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
● A passion for working with young people with SEND
