Qualified SEND Teacher
South London
Pay: Up to £45,000
Monday to Friday
Permanent Position
We are working with a fantastic school to find a teacher to work with either Primary or Secondary age students. Within this position, you will be working with small class sizes and a unique approach to classroom management with built-for-purpose facilities.
Within this school, the students all have a diagnosis of SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) and are dealing with Trauma. This a rewarding role as you will build bonds with the students and help them overcome personal and academic development barriers.
Key Aspects of the role:
- Two Teachers per classroom, meaning shared workload and control over what subjects you teach together each week; turns are taken between supporting the lesson whilst the other leads.
- Small classes with a maximum class size of six.
- A new fast laptop is provided upon successful appointment for marking and lesson planning.
- Full support to those looking to move from a Mainstream environment to a SEND School.
- Training provided to all staff by various external professionals.
- You would be supporting SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) needs, such as students dealing with trauma at an all-through school.
