About the Role
Job Role: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Enfield
Long term to permanent opportunities
Pay: £100 - £115 daily rate PAYE
Are you looking for a new challenge supporting children and young people with behavioural and social, emotional, and mental health needs?
I am working with a SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school that are based in Enfield. The school is passionate about supporting students through a trauma-informed approach. This is a challenging but very rewarding role, and would be working with a fantastic and supportive team.
The school are looking for passionate and resilient behaviour mentors to join them in September 2024.
The Ideal candidate;
- The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for SEN and build a career around this.
- The ideal candidate is resilient and adaptable.
- Experience working with children who have challenging behaviour.
- Experience or knowledge of working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
- The ideal candidate will go above and beyond to change the lives of young people.
- The candidate will excel in building a solid rapport with students and staff.
- The ideal candidate can adjust to and overcome challenges whilst following appropriate protocol.
