They have a commitment to providing assessments and therapy to children and young adults aged 0 to 21 years, with a current client base between 2 and 9 years, makes them an essential service for many families. With expansion on the horizon, they are actively recruiting for a Senior Occupational Therapist and other positions to support their growth.
The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills and relevant experience as well as:
A knowledge of Paediatric mental health conditions, eating disorders, neurology, developmental delay, oncology and complex needs would be beneficial.
They will have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Being able to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of the therapy and wider MDTs; including supporting others during rotations.
Able to show flexibility to working demands.
To be able to show initiative and motivation to work with the rest of the team to develop the service further.
To be an effective leader and mentor to less experienced OTs
