We are recruiting a qualified school-based Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to join a well-established, creative, and supportive SEN school based in the London borough of Wandsworth.
You will be working directly with pupils aged 11 - 19, all diagnosed with ASD, challenging behaviour and associated learning difficulties; The school provides personalised and holistic education to children and young people diagnosed with Autism/ASC.
They have an in-house therapy team, and you will have fantastic CPD and training opportunities!

Permanent contract; full-time or part-time (term time only)
Salaries in line with NHS Band Scales

Ideal School-based Speech and Language Therapist:
Must be HCPC registered
Has a degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent
Has experience working with children and young people with special needs, particularly with Autism/ASC and associated learning difficulties
Has personal interests in supporting children and young people with special needs
A positive, proactive, and patient individual who can build good working relationships with children, teachers, parents, and carers
A team player and has great communication skills
School-based Speech and Language Therapist's Main Responsibilities:
Providing both individual and group speech and language therapy services to children
Attending and contributing to staff meetings and Annual Review meetings
Working closely with the rest of the multidisciplinary team, as well as teachers and support staff
Providing a creative and nurturing learning environment where children can reach their potential
Being fully aware of the school policy and implementing Health and Safety Regulations, including Risk Assessment
