PS Inclusion are seeking an experienced and committed SEN Teacher to join a mainstream primary school in Newham, leading an inclusion class to support students with special educational needs.
This is a large mainstream Primary school with its own inclusion department for a small group of 7 students displaying autism, speech & language difficulties, ADHD and dysregulated behaviour. This school is professional, upcoming and growing, you will be part of a larger trust and have a supportive team.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Lead and manage an inclusion class, providing high-quality teaching and learning opportunities for children with a range of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
Teach and support children who are on EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plans), including those with Autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges.
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of your students, ensuring all children reach their potential.
Work closely with SENCO, SALTs, EP's , support staff, and external agencies to provide the best outcomes for students.
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where all children can thrive.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
Proven experience working with children displaying a range of SEND, particularly Autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges.
Experience within a Primary setting.
Experience working with EHCPs and a good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
A patient, positive, and flexible approach with a genuine passion for helping young learners.
Commitment to a long-term role with the ability to inspire and motivate children.
