Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity to make a real impact?
PS Inclusion are seeking an experienced and committed SEN Teacher to join a mainstream primary school in Newham, leading an inclusion class to support students with special educational needs.
This is a large mainstream Primary school with its own inclusion department for a small group of 7 students displaying autism, speech & language difficulties, ADHD and dysregulated behaviour. This school is professional, upcoming and growing, you will be part of a larger trust and have a supportive team.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Lead and manage an inclusion class, providing high-quality teaching and learning opportunities for children with a range of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
- Teach and support children who are on EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plans), including those with Autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges.
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of your students, ensuring all children reach their potential.
- Work closely with SENCO, SALTs, EP's , support staff, and external agencies to provide the best outcomes for students.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where all children can thrive.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Proven experience working with children displaying a range of SEND, particularly Autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges.
- Experience within a Primary setting.
- Experience working with EHCPs and a good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
- A patient, positive, and flexible approach with a genuine passion for helping young learners.
- Commitment to a long-term role with the ability to inspire and motivate children.
