Are you a confident and motivated Band 5 or an emerging Band 6 Occupational Therapist who would like to work within schools in either a part-time or full-time capacity?
Are you looking for an opportunity to work around your family life, or are you keen to build new skills in SEND such as SI (Sensory Integration)?
About the School
This Primary school is a relatively new, small and growing school located in Stratford, near the border of Tower Hamlets. It is part of a larger trust that can offer a warm and welcoming environment for our pupils and staff. As this is a small school there is not an OT team therefore you will need to be confident enough to work on your own with this child.
About the Student
The student you will be supporting is a very sweet and engaging child who enjoys learning. He responds well to routines, is eager to participate in classroom activities and has a particular interest in learning facts and numbers. He has some difficulties with social interaction and applying his knowledge in different contexts, which is where your expertise will be invaluable. He has received private ABA therapy throughout his time at the school and will be transitioning to receiving this support within the school setting.
