Would you like to work in a SEND special school supporting students with complex needs?

I am working with a wonderful SEND school based in North London that is looking for passionate and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistants to join it's supportive team. The school caters for children from Early Years to Year 4 and provides inclusive and personalised learning. They are looking for suitable candidates who have experience supporting children with complex needs, the main need in the classroom is autism and to have experience supporting young people in early years or primary. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants looking to work in a SEND school and looking for a long-term role with permanent opportunities.

Requirements of a SEN Teaching Assistant 

  • Previous experience working as an SEN Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant in early years or primary would be highly valued.
  • Previous experience working with Autism and ADHD or other SEND would be highly valued
  • If you don't have school-based experience, then to have personal experience with SEND 
  • A friendly and positive person with a resilient personality
  • A real passion for supporting young people with SEND and looking for a long-term role
