Are you a passionate and dedicated primary SEN Teacher looking for a supportive and inclusive SEND school?

We are working with an SEN specialist school based in North London that is seeking a primary teacher to start with them in September. The school caters to students with complex needs, with a high percentage of ASC and non-verbal students. In the classroom, there are four members of staff to help support the teacher: three SEN teaching assistants and an experienced HLTA, who will help cover when needed to focus on PPA sessions.

Responsibilities of the PrimarySEN Teacher Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging appropriate lessons tailored to the pupil's needs
  • Using different strategies, including sensory-based learning
  • Work closely with the therapy team and support staff
  • Support the use of different ways of communication methods such as, Makaton, PCES and AAC devices
  • Building strong relationships with parents and carers

Requirements for the Primary SEN Teacher Role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply
  • Experience teaching children in primary with SEND

Pastoral Mentor Central London Full Time - Long term Are you passionate about supporting young people with behavioural, social, emotional and mental health needs? We are working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Central London that caters for students from primary to year 11 across two sites,. The school provides short- and long-term placements for young people unable to attend mainstream education due to behavioural, social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, as well as additional diagnoses such as ASC and ADHD. They are seeking an experienced Pastoral Mentor to join their team, delivering 1:1 and small group mentoring interventions to students in Key Stage 3. The ideal candidates will already have experience mentoring and supporting young people with behavioural, social and emotional needs. Key Responsibilities for The Pastoral Mentor Role: Deliver targeted intervention and mentoring sessions to support emotional well-being and behaviour. Build positive relationships to help students develop resilience and coping strategies. Work with staff and external agencies to create personalised support plans.
