Are you an experienced band 5/6 Speech and Language Therapist looking to become part of a multidisciplinary therapy team for a SEND school trust?

Do you have a strong paediatric SaLT background and passion for paediatric support?

I am looking for a band 5/6 SaLT to become part of a permanent multidisciplinary therapy team based in an ASD school in North London

Parker Smith Inclusion is working alongside a specialised school that supports young people with autism and learning difficulties who are seeking an occupational therapist to join their established therapist team. The school has a warm and calm atmosphere, and the students are happy in their learning environment. The schools offer education to children ages 2 to 19 from moderate to severe needs.

About the Speech and Language Therapist role;

This is a full-time Speech and Language Therapist role, salary ranging from £30,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.

The whole purpose of a school-based Speech and Language Therapist is to help children succeed. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide direct clinical care which will encompass Speech and Language Therapy assessments, treatments and management of needs extended to life outside the school. You will assess, implement and develop treatment programmes according to diagnosis and identified needs.

Speech and Language Requirements;

  • A registered Speech and Language Therapist with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) or registration n process.
  • Paediatric experience.
  • A passion to work in Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy.
  • A passion to work with children with Autism
  • An understanding of Speech and Language Therapy process/interventions.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
  • Resilience and an ability to manage difficult situations.
