£90 - £110 PAYE Per day

Do you have a passion and talent for supporting children and young people who cannot access mainstream education due to their social, emotional and mental health?

Are you looking for a challenging but rewarding new role within a SEMH school?

We are looking for experienced and resilient Learning Support Assistants for a special school for young people with SEMH. The school is looking for LSA’s who are experienced in supporting young people with SEMH and challenging behaviour someone who is proactive, confident, and resilient. Every student at the school has an EHCP and the role will be based within year 10 where the students study the three core subjects, maths, English and science as well as a wide range of vocational BTCE courses.

SEMH Learning Support Assistant requirements:

  • Experience in working with young people with SEMH, Autism, behavioural issues, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication
  • If you have a passion for sports, this is something you can bring into the role.
  • Learning Mentor/ Youth Worker experience -SEMH Teaching Assistant
  • Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships and to be a role model
  • A passion for working with SEND is essential
