About the Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
I work with a variety of schools, including both SEND schools and mainstream settings with dedicated SEND provisions. As a SEND Teaching Assistant in Havering, your role will be to:
- Support Students: Provide tailored assistance to children with diverse SEND needs, enhancing their learning experiences and development.
- Collaborate with Educators: Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement strategies that foster student progress.
- Promote Inclusivity: Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEND is desirable but not essential. Personal experience is also highly valued.
- Proactive Attitude: A positive and proactive mindset to make a real difference in the lives of children.
- Strong Communication Skills: The ability to build relationships with students and staff and contribute effectively to a team.
