About the Role
Learning Support Assistants (SEN)
Location: Hackney
Position Type: Full-Time, 5 Days a Week, Term Time
Salary: £90 - £95 per day
Are you experienced in working with children and ready to make a meaningful impact? PS Inclusion are always seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join schools in Hackney, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, learning difficulties, and speech difficulties.
About the Role:
- Work closely with children with a range of SEN needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment, adapting resources and activities as needed.
- Support children individually and in group settings, building strong, trusting relationships.
- Help children develop essential skills, communication abilities, and confidence.
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure consistent, comprehensive support for each child.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, in any capacity (school, nursery, youth work, etc.).
- A commitment to a long-term role, working 5 days a week.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting children with diverse needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Resilience, flexibility, and a willingness to adapt and grow within the role.
