About the Role
At Parker Smith Inclusion, we’re proud to be working with a fantastic Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) school that is entering an exciting new chapter of growth and expansion.
From September 2025, we are looking for a passionate Science and Maths Teacher to join a nurturing, close-knit team, teaching small groups of around eight students. This isn’t your average SEMH school – it’s a setting where every success is celebrated, and every challenge is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
As part of their expansion, a brand-new, purpose-built school site is being developed just around the corner from their current location – set to open in September 2026. This growth opens the door to huge opportunities: whether your ambitions lie in becoming a Head of Department, stepping into pastoral leadership, or shaping new teaching practices across the trust, the pathway is clear and fully supported.
We are looking for someone who:
-
Has direct experience teaching Science or Maths (ideally confident to teach both at KS3 level).
-
Is motivated to adapt and thrive within an SEMH environment.
-
Brings creativity, resilience, and a heartfelt commitment to making a difference.
-
Wants to be part of a supportive, innovative SLT and a trust where collaboration is key.
The salary is aligned to Main Pay Scale 1 – Upper Pay Scale 3, depending on experience.
If you’re looking for a school where your ideas are valued, your growth is championed, and your work genuinely changes lives – this could be the perfect next step for you.
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Harlow
Could this be the opportunity that redefines your teaching journey?
If you’re ready to bring your energy, expertise, and passion to an SEMH setting that’s truly on the rise, we’d love to hear from you.
