Are you a Qualified Teacher with experience teaching students with ASC?

We here at Parker Smith are working with a wonderful primary school that are seeking a teacher to teach within the autism provision. Within this role, you will teach a small class of students whilst supported by two SEN TAs. This will be mostly through play-based and activity-based learning.

The school has various facilities and resources to support teachers with their lessons. The headteacher speaks with all staff to ensure they are happy and have the support they need. This is a lovely place to work that feels like a family.

What you can expect as an Autism Primary School Teacher:

  • To lead a class in the autism provision (ARP) of a mainstream primary school with students aged 4 to 11
  • Support by two SEND Teaching Assistants
  • To provide lessons to the students mainly through play-based and activity-based learning

Role Overview As a Nurture Teacher, you will empower the students in key stage 3 to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
