- Collaborate with the wider SEMH and pastoral teams to support students' behavioural, emotional, and academic development.
- Use your understanding of SEMH and behaviour management strategies to engage and motivate students, helping them succeed despite their challenges.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Hair and Beauty at BTEC Level 2 or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs, ideally in a PRU or similar alternative provision.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and behaviour management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
- A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach to working with young people facing emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- A passion for supporting students in developing vocational skills alongside personal growth and emotional resilience.
What You Can Expect:
- A highly rewarding and challenging teaching role in a specialist SEMH provision.
- The chance to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable young people, helping them develop both vocational skills and confidence.
- A supportive and collaborative team environment, with ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Competitive salary paid to scale for qualified teachers.
- The opportunity to positively influence the future of students who require additional support in their learning journey.
