Graduate Teaching Assistant - SEN Support

A well-established SEN school in Morden seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, work alongside experienced professionals, and impact pupils' lives meaningfully.

Your Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support, ensuring pupils can access learning in a way that meets their needs
- Assisting with personal care routines, promoting independence and well-being
- Supporting pupils during hydrotherapy sessions, encouraging their physical and sensory development
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to provide tailored support
- Encouraging communication, engagement, and social interaction through structured activities
What We’re Looking For:
- A graduate (Psychology, Education, Health & Social Care, or a related field preferred)
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with SEN
- Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach
- Comfortable with personal care and hydrotherapy
- Experience with SEN (voluntary or professional) is beneficial but not essential.
