About the Role
Early Years SEN Assistant - Stratford - Immediate Start - Long Term
Location: Newham, Stratford
Position Type: Full-time 8 - 4pm
Salary: £85 - £95 per day
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children? Do you have experience working with children in nursery or reception settings, especially those with undiagnosed autism? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
I am working with a School in Newham who are in need of a dedicated Early Years SEN Assistant to support children in their critical early development stages. You'll be based in a SEN inclusion class to support a small group of Early Years - KS1 Children that have undiagnosed autism, and/or non-verbal. The children are interactive, eager to learn and needing the right person to support them to reach their end goal, integrated back into mainstream class!
About the Role:
As an Early Years SEN Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Support children with undiagnosed autism, tailoring your approach to their individual needs.
- Assist with personal care, ensuring the well-being and comfort of all children.
- Foster a positive and engaging atmosphere that encourages learning through play.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to create and implement strategies for each child's success.
About You:
I'm considering candidates that have the following on their CV;
- Experienced in nursery or reception settings (preferred).
- Knowledgeable about SEN practices, particularly autism (experience with undiagnosed autism is a plus).
- Qualified with CACHE Level 1, 2, or 3 or an Early Years degree.
- Comfortable with personal care responsibilities.
- Active, energetic, and ready to engage with young learners on their level.
- Bubbly, enthusiastic, and genuinely committed to helping children develop and thrive.
