Job Title: Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant
Location: Upminster
Contract: Full-time, Immediate Start
Pay: £80 - £90 per day (PAYE)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic special school in Upminster. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with children who have a variety of complex needs, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide tailored support to children with complex needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and participate fully in classroom activities.
- Develop and implement personalised learning plans in collaboration with teachers and specialists, catering to the individual needs of each student.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Assist with daily living activities as needed, promoting independence and self-esteem among the children.
- Engage with families and caregivers, maintaining open lines of communication to ensure a holistic approach to each child’s development.
- Work closely with a dedicated team of professionals, including teachers, therapists, and support staff, to create a nurturing and enriching learning experience.
Who You Are:
- You have experience working with children with complex needs in a school or support setting.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with students and their families.
- You are empathetic, patient, and resilient, ready to face challenges with a positive attitude.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment, working effectively as part of a team.
