Location: SEND School Focused on Inclusion, Well-being, and Therapeutic Education
Start Date: Immediate, Full-Time

About the Role
We are proud to partner with an inspiring secondary SEND school in the London Borough of Barnet, catering to children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Autism/ASC. The school is led by a passionate Headteacher who values her dynamic, supportive staff and creates an environment that is inclusive, therapeutic, and focused on the well-being of each pupil. This position offers fantastic experience for those aspiring to careers as SEND Teachers, Pastoral Workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Counsellors, or Social Workers.
Role Highlights
Learning Support Assistant in an inclusive SEND setting for pupils with SEMH, Autism/ASC, and undiagnosed mental health needs
Located in Barnet, North London, with immediate start
Small class sizes of around 8 pupils
Supporting students with high anxiety, school phobia, and other sensory and social communication needs
Providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment to positively impact the lives of children and young people
Requirements for the Role
Previous experience working with young people who have SEMH, Autism/ASC, anxiety, sensory processing challenges, or social communication needs
Available to start work immediately
Ability to build meaningful relationships and act as a positive role model
A genuine passion for working in SEND education and supporting children’s well-being
