The pressure and fast paced environment of a large classroom is only growing, however working in a special school with classes only up to 6 students will give you the time to build meaningful relationships with your students.
Transitioning from a mainstream class teacher to a special needs teacher can be nerve-racking but with the right support and the correct knowledge of the field Parker Smith Inclusion can make that transition smooth, effective and the perfect match.

This special school in East London caters for students with autism, complex needs, behavioural challenges and speech and communication needs, as they are currently based in a temporary site staff work together to support the children in the best way that they can. The curriculum is revolved around sensory learning, sensory circuits, interventions, self-regulation techniques, visuals and creating an all round positive learning environment for the students.
The senior leadership team and the Trust are very supportive of all teaching staff, helping them shape the curriculum and provide the necessary resources as well as, support with the pressures and emotional affect working in this type of school can bring.
