About the Role: In this role, you'll have the opportunity to deliver a therapeutic teaching approach that prioritises emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies, helping students feel safe and supported in their learning. As a positive role model, you’ll foster communication with a sensitive, nurturing, and consistent approach, using de-escalation techniques to promote positive behaviour management. You'll be working closely with students who have SEMH needs, trauma backgrounds, sensory processing challenges, and social communication difficulties, ensuring that their individual needs are met. Some experience in online teaching would be beneficial, but most importantly, your ability to build strong, meaningful relationships with vulnerable students will be key to their success.
