08:30 to 15:45 (later finish on training days)

£165 to £250 a day (PAYE)

We are working with a fantastic SEND school in the South London Borough of Southwark to find someone to lead a class as a SEND Teacher, teaching a class of students with a diagnosis of Autism (ASC/ASD). The students at the school all have an EHCP and range from ages 4 to 16 and are mainly high functioning, with younger students using play and activity-based learning whilst older students will learn functional skills alongside other lessons. In the classroom, you teach up to 12 students and will be supported by 3 Teaching Assistants whilst have access to various resources and facilities. The school is bespoke, so it is designed for the needs providing faculty with everything needed.

The school provides bespoke training to all staff including with professionals from outside the school as well as from their internal teams which includes a wide range of Speech and language and Occupational Therapists. They additionally have upcoming opportunities for career growth in the form of other roles within the school, in addition to the traditional growth you will receive as you stay on the school and go up the Teacher PayScale.
