About the Role

Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant

 

Location: Morden, Merton

Pay: £90 - £100 PAYE per day (Depending on experience)

8:30am – 4pm, 5 days per week

Start date: ASAP

Contract: Long term/Full time

 

Are you passionate about working with children with special educational needs?

 

A prominent school in Merton is currently looking for a SEND teaching assistant who has a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN. You will be supporting students between the ages of 11-19 and the types of SEN you will be supporting with are ASC, SLD, and PMLD.

The school community is determined that each pupil receives an individual, rich and finely tuned education, within a happy, thriving environment.

Onsite parking is included.

 

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience working with ASC, SLD and PMLD
  • Good communication skills
  • Passionate about helping students to succeed
  • Must be comfortable providing personal care
  • Comfortable assisting with hydrotherapy
