Science Teacher – Permanent Role – SEMH School in Essex

We are hiring a Science Teacher in the Redbridge area for a PERMANENT contract starting in January 2025
Non-exhaustive list as a Science Teacher
- Deliver the curriculum to all students, adjusting the material should it be necessary to suit specific needs.
- Responsibility of creating and preparing lessons.
- You will be accountable for the attainment and progress of pupil progress.
- Establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment, keeping the school’s core value of mutual respect at the forefront.
Essential Criteria for Science Teacher
- Previous experience of working with emotional regulation and with positive behaviour/de-escalation strategies.
- It is compulsory you hold (or have in process) valid QTS/QTLS.
- Qualification to the equivalent of degree level in a specialist subject or a related subject
- You enjoy using a therapeutic approach to teaching.
- Experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication teaching background.
