Are you a strong and resilient Behaviour Mentor looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a fantastic secondary school for children with SEMH needs?
Do you have experience working with in a PRU or similar setting?
Here at Parker Smith Inclusion, we are working with an inspiring SEMH Secondary School in the London Borough of Greenwich. They are looking for Behaviour Mentors to make a difference to these students lives by acting as a positive role model.
Requirements of a Behaviour Mentor
- Experience with dysregulated behaviour – this role would really suit someone who has worked in a PRU or SEMH school, has worked as a Pastoral Officer in a school, or has experience with dysregulated behaviour as a Youth Worker.
- A resilient personality and an ability to build rapport quickly with staff and students.
- De-escalation training would be a bonus for this role, however, the school do also provide their own specialised de-escalation training
- An interest in mental health and seeing behaviour as a form of communication is essential for this role
