Learning Support Assistant (1:1 Teaching Assistant)

I am working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Kingston Upon Thames, and the school is looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join them as early as possible. The Learning Support Assistant will work closely with a child in year 3 with Autism, ADHD, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH).
- Have you worked in a primary school or SEN school supporting children with Autism and ADHD?
- Do you have experience supporting children with behavioural challenges?
Requirements:
- Able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, during school hours (8:30am - 16:00pm)
- Able to start as early as possible
- Have experience with Autism / ASC, ADHD, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
- Able to build professional and trusting relationships
- Able to commute to Kingston Upon Thames
- Have excellent communication skills

Providing both individual and group speech and language therapy services to children
Attending and contributing to staff meetings and Annual Review meetings
Working closely with the rest of the multidisciplinary team, as well as teachers and support staff
Providing a creative and nurturing learning environment where children can reach their potential
Being fully aware of the school policy and implementing Health and Safety Regulations, including Risk Assessment
