About the Role
Drama Teacher / Performing Arts Teacher
Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Pay: £140 - £250 PAYE per day, depending on experience & qualification
Full-Time, term time only

If you are an experienced Drama Teacher or Performing Arts Teacher looking for a new challenge, this could be the role for you!
We are working with a lovely SEN school based in Wandsworth, South West London, looking for a Drama Teacher / Performing Arts Teacher to join its fantastic team. The school offers education to students who have Autism/ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), ADHD, and associated learning difficulties.
The Drama Teacher role
- Teaching in a setting with a likeminded and supportive team
- Teaching students Drama who have Autism/ASC, ADHD, associated learning difficulties, and dysregulated behaviour
- Building strong and meaningful relationships
- Able to deliver the Drama curriculum to key stages 3 & 4
- To offer a therapeutic teaching approach
- Long-term to permanent opportunities
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher (if you are an unqualified teacher with experience, you are welcome to apply!)
- Have at least 1 year of experience teaching drama in secondary / SEN school settings
- Has experience teaching children with Autism / ASC, ADHD, and associated learning difficulties
- Have strong behaviour management skills
