We are working with a lovely SEN school based in Wandsworth, South West London, looking for a Drama Teacher / Performing Arts Teacher to join its fantastic team. The school offers education to students who have Autism/ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), ADHD, and associated learning difficulties.

The Drama Teacher role

  • Teaching in a setting with a likeminded and supportive team
  • Teaching students Drama who have Autism/ASC, ADHD, associated learning difficulties, and dysregulated behaviour
  • Building strong and meaningful relationships
  • Able to deliver the Drama curriculum to key stages 3 & 4

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher (if you are an unqualified teacher with experience, you are welcome to apply!)
  • Have at least 1 year of experience teaching drama in secondary / SEN school settings
  • Has experience teaching children with Autism / ASC, ADHD, and associated learning difficulties
  • Have strong behaviour management skills
