Role: Job Coach & Travel Trainer School: SEND Post 16 Location: Enfield Are you passionate about supporting young people with complex needs to achieve independence and prepare for adult life? We are working with a school based in Enfield that caters to students 16 - 25 years with SEND, which includes ASC, ADHD, learning difficulties, and speech and language and communication needs. The school are looking for passionate Job Coaches & Travel Trainers to join their ethical team. Part of the role as a Job Coach will involve supporting the students with their work experience placements and giving guidance, support and advice for their job placements. The other part of the role will be supporting students with independent travel. Key Responsibilities Independent Travel Trainer Deliver tailored travel training to students, ensuring they can navigate public transport safely and independently. Monitor progress, complete checklists, and report updates to line managers, class teams, and other stakeholders. Prepare and implement risk assessments for travel training activities. Job Coach Organise and coordinate meaningful external work experience opportunities that match students’ abilities and interests. Consult with students to understand their skills, preferences, and support needs, adopting a person-centered approach. Set up, support, and monitor students in work placements, providing on-the-job training, advice, and guidance. Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, negotiating roles that align with students’ skills while meeting business needs. What We’re Looking For: Experience working with young people with SEND, particularly in a post-16 setting. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to build positive relationships. Knowledge of risk assessments, safeguarding, and disability equality practices. Specialist Intervention Teacher Pupil Referral Unit Islington September 2025 Would you be keen on a new challenge supporting students not in the classroom? We are working closely with a PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) in central London, who are seeking teachers to deliver education offsite and onsite for pupils in key stages 3 & 4 who are not managing in the PRU. Within the role it would be essential for the successful candidate to be able to teach across the key stages and curriculum, but lead on specialising in either English, Maths or humanities. This will be teaching in the students home, within the local community as well as at the school. Primary, secondary and middle school teachers are welcomed to apply for this role. Pastoral Mentor Central London Full Time - Long term Are you passionate about supporting young people with behavioural, social, emotional and mental health needs? We are working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Central London that caters for students from primary to year 11 across two sites,. The school provides short- and long-term placements for young people unable to attend mainstream education due to behavioural, social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, as well as additional diagnoses such as ASC and ADHD. They are seeking an experienced Pastoral Mentor to join their team, delivering 1:1 and small group mentoring interventions to students in Key Stage 3. The ideal candidates will already have experience mentoring and supporting young people with behavioural, social and emotional needs. Key Responsibilities for The Pastoral Mentor Role: Deliver targeted intervention and mentoring sessions to support emotional well-being and behaviour. Build positive relationships to help students develop resilience and coping strategies. Work with staff and external agencies to create personalised support plans. Monitor progress and encourage engagement in learning. Requirements for The Pastoral Mentor Role: Experience working with young people with SEMH needs or in a PRU/SEN setting.
