- Organise and coordinate meaningful external work experience opportunities that match students’ abilities and interests.
- Consult with students to understand their skills, preferences, and support needs, adopting a person-centered approach.
- Set up, support, and monitor students in work placements, providing on-the-job training, advice, and guidance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, negotiating roles that align with students’ skills while meeting business needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with young people with SEND, particularly in a post-16 setting.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Knowledge of risk assessments, safeguarding, and disability equality practices.
- Confidence in delivering training, supporting students in the workplace, and promoting independence.
