This Deputy Headteacher role offers a rare opportunity to step into a strategic, high-impact position in a forward-thinking special school with a strong sense of purpose and community.

You’ll be a key member of the senior leadership team with responsibility for the secondary provision; overseeing curriculum, quality of education, safeguarding, behaviour, and strategic planning.
Working in close partnership with the Headteacher, your influence will stretch across school improvement, staff development, and the future direction of a school that values communication, independence, wellbeing, and having fun.

-
Emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, and the confidence to represent the school externally
Whether you’re already a Deputy Head looking for a meaningful change, or an experienced Assistant Head ready for that next step. You’ll be joining a passionate, supportive team with a clear shared vision.
Why this school?
You’ll be part of a values-driven team in a specialist provision where leadership is visible, staff wellbeing is prioritised, and inclusion is not a buzzword...it’s the foundation. This is a school that believes in fun, community, and helping every student thrive on their own terms.
