About the Role
Behaviour Learning Support - Therapeutic SEMH School in Wandsworth
ASAP Start, Monday to Friday (term time only)
£95 - £100 PAYE Per Day
Are you calm, resilient, and passionate about supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH)?
We’re looking for a dedicated Behaviour Learning Support Assistant to join an exceptional therapeutic school in Wandsworth, catering to students with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and other associated learning difficulties.
Role Overview:
- Location: Wandsworth
- Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
- Pay: £95 - £100 per day, paid directly through PAYE (no umbrella company)
- Class Size: Up to 10 students, with support from 1-2 other Teaching Assistants

- Trust-Building: Students may have faced past traumas or struggle to express emotions safely; building trust takes time and consistency.
- Emotional Resilience: Requires a calm, empathetic approach to help students navigate intense emotions.
Who We’re Looking For - Behaviour Learning Support:
- Skills: Strong behaviour management skills; Team Teach training is a bonus.
- Personal Qualities: Patience, empathy, and resilience are essential.
- Experience: Personal experience with SEN is highly valued; backgrounds in SEN or related care roles are a plus.
