Business and Finance Manager

At the start of the year, we had a real issue with a large number of Teaching Assistant vacancies (12 vacancies) and a high level of sickness absence. I was tasked with engaging in widening our search for new agencies and sourcing better quality candidates to work with our rather unique learners. I made contact with Parker Smith Inclusion in 2023 and was introduced to Heeji Moon, London Team Manager. Heeji was very knowledgeable about the current market and was confident she could assist in sourcing some suitable candidates.

Heeji came to visit the school that very day to get a real flavour of the school, and she spent time in the classrooms, spoke to teachers and met some of our young people. She had a tour of the school and ascertained all local transport links, access to the school, security, parking facilities etc. With this information, Heeji not only managed to sell our school to potential candidates but also secured very suitable candidates. We have had every staff provided by Parker Smith Inclusion and some of which have shifted over to become permanent. 

The company’s vetting system is very clear, effective and seems quicker than other agents we have engaged with. I have found their rates very competitive; the company ethos is ethical and transparent, and they have been a pleasure to work with.
