About the Role
Youth Learning Mentors - Pupil Referral Unit - ASAP Start
Do you have a passion and talent for supporting children and young people who cannot access mainstream education due to their social, emotional and mental health?
I am actively seeking engaging and passionate Learning Mentors to work in a SEMH specialist school that provides education to children who are unable to be educated in a mainstream school due to behavioural difficulties. I am looking to speak to professional and committed Learning Mentors to work in a SEMH setting in the North East London area. The role is working within the secondary department, supporting behaviour and learning in class settings.
Youth Learning Mentors Requirements:
- Experience of working with young people with SEMH, Autism, behavioural issues, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication
- Learning Mentor/ Youth Worker experience
- Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
- A passion for working with SEND is essential
