Teaching Assistant – KS3/KS4
Meet Our Recruiter
About the Role
Based in the London Borough of Redbridge, this incredible college for students, aged 14-16 years old on the Autism Spectrum, are seeking two experienced teaching assistants to join their team. This newly-refurbished building was designed with the needs of children with Autism in mind, ensuring there are large open classrooms and therapy spaces for students in KS2, KS3 and KS4. There is also a calm, landscaped outdoor area with an all weather pitch as well as specialist facilities for IT, food technology and science.
Working in small classes of maximum 10 pupils, you will be supporting those with taking their GCSE's and/or other entry level courses, as well as working together to help students develop the essential life skills. There are a wide range of trips and visits built into the curriculum to help build independence and prepare students for life after education.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their lives. Anyone who is seeking to develop their experience within a specialist setting before pursuing teacher training is encouraged to apply, as well as experienced teaching assistants looking for a change.
