About the Role
Role: Speech & Language Therapist
Location: London Borough of Wandsworth
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start: Immediate or January 2025
Salary: Dependant on experience - In line with NHS band 5/6/7
Parker Smith Inclusion is excited to be working in partnership with a new special educational needs school that is situated in the lively borough of Wandsworth. The school is a small, independent secondary school which seeks to build holistic, personalised curricula for their students by integrated therapy together with high academic expectations.
As a Speech & Language Therapist you will play a crucial role in helping children achieve their communication & language development goals. You will work exclusively with the students on a one-to-one basis.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide speech & language and communication assessments and therapy services for children as well as offer support and guidance to their families
- Keep accurate records and provide written reports
- Set targets for therapy and monitor progress
- Provide intervention as required
- They will have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to show flexibility to working demands.
- To be able to show initiative and motivation to work with the rest of the team to hit milestones
