Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) – Autism and SEMH Specialist

We are working with a wonderful SEN school in Mole Valley, Surrey, that provides holistic and personalised education for pupils for all age groups who have Autism/ASC and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

The Role – School-Based Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT)
- Working with children and young people with Autism/ASC and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
- Permanent contract – full-time (term time only)
- Salaries aligned with NHS Band Scales

What We’re Looking For:
- HCPC registered and qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs (SEN), particularly Autism (ASC)
- Passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Your Responsibilities:
- Delivering individual and group speech and language therapy
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and a multidisciplinary team
- Attending staff and Annual Review meetings
- Creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment
- Following school policies and Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments
