Role:  Speech & Language Therapist 

Workplace: Private Paediatric Therapy Clinic

Location: Central West London

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Start: January 2025 or March 2025 

Salary: Dependant on experience - In line with NHS band 6/7

 

Parker Smith Inclusion is excited to be working in partnership with a privately-funded paediatric therapy clinic known for its specialisation in sensory integration therapy.  They have a commitment to providing assessments and therapy to children and young adults aged 0 to 21 years, with a current client base between 2 and 9 years, makes them an essential service for many families. With expansion on the horizon, they are actively recruiting for Speech & Language Therapist to support their growth and help to set up the speech and language service at the clinic. 

As a paediatric Speech & Language Therapist you will play a crucial role in helping children achieve their communication & language development goals.

 

The successful candidate will:  

  • Provide speech & language and communication assessments and therapy services for children as well as offer support and guidance to their families 
  • Keep accurate records and provide written reports
  • Set targets for therapy and monitor progress
  • Provide intervention as required 
  • Hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision 
  • They will have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Being able to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of the therapy and wider MDTs
  • Able to show flexibility to working demands.
  • To be able to show initiative and motivation to work with the rest of the team to develop this new service
