We are currently working alongside a SEND secondary school, they have students from yr 7 - yr 13 with moderate to severe learning difficulties and a range of complex needs, including autism.
The school believes in providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every learner is valued, challenged, and empowered to achieve their potential.
This role isn't about following a rigid curriculum. It’s about meeting students where they are and guiding them forward at their own pace. Some days, that might mean working through emotions before tackling a maths lesson. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the Specialist Resource Provision is running smoothly and making sure the students are getting the best support available. You will be managing behaviour and supporting the pupils academically, emotionally and behaviourally.
