About the Role
SEN Teacher - Long term - KS2 Complex Needs
East London - Outer London
MPS/UPS with SEN allowance
Start date – May half term or sooner
The school is a multisite special school they cater for children of all ages who have a variety of needs such as Autism, SLD and PMLD. The school recognises the importance of staff wellbeing and therefore individualised CPD is on offer for all staff.
All pupils across the trust have complex learning needs, and may have associated:
- Medical needs
- Physical disabilities
- (Multi) Sensory Impairments (MSI)
- Autistic Spectrum conditions
- Challenging behaviours and sensory processing/sensory integration needs
The ideal SEN Teacher for this role:
- Would enjoy working with incredible pupils and staff as well as being hardworking, and enthusiastic.
- Have the ability to work with pupils with severe learning difficulties and disabilities and/or autism.
- Have QTS/QTLS
- Have ambition to take on additional responsibilities and leadership
- Be a brilliant teacher (mainstream teachers are welcome, the school are proven trainers!!)
