£160 to £220 a day (PAYE)

Are you seeking a rewarding role teaching a class of students with Autism?
We are working with a fantastic school in South East London Borough of Southwark to fill the position of SEND Teacher, leading a class of students with a diagnosis of Autism (ASC / ASD). Within this role, you will be teaching the class, using mostly play-based and activity-based learning whilst assisted by 3 SEN Teaching Assistants. Class sizes can reach up to a maximum size of 12 with different year groups available – meaning the successful applicant will be able to lead a class within whatever year group suits them.
Requirements of an SEND Teacher ASC/ASD:
- SEND qualifications or experience
- To work and support students with a diagnosis of Autism
- To observe, assess and support students in their personal and educational development
- To work alongside Management, SENCO’s and other faculty
- To be prepared to offer advice to parents and work with them to support their child.
