The Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Sutton, South West London
Contract: Full time, Long term
Start date: September 2025
Rate of pay: £85 - £95 per day PAYE (depending on experience)

We are working with SEND schools, Specialist Provisions (settings attached to mainstream schools specifically designed for SEND students) and Alternative Education Provisions and PRUs.

- As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping children to access their learning activities.

- A patient and flexible individual who is able to adapt to the ever-changing needs of their students.
- A SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about working with children with special educational needs, particularly autism.
- Someone who understands that this role is bigger than simply sitting in the classroom, and is willing to get involved in all aspects of school life.
- A team player who is comfortable working collaboratively with other staff.
- An individual who is keen to help young people become as independent as possible, and leave school equipped with functional skills.
- A SEN Teaching Assistant who is willing to engage in ongoing training.
- Someone who may be open to moving to a permanent role after a trial period.
