The SEN Teaching Assistant Role
Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for your next challenge? We are working to find an experienced teaching assistant to help with children who have a range of complex needs both non-verbal and verbal. The school are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who has the strive and ambition to help them promote equality of opportunity by maximising access and by supporting every young person to develop independence and advocacy skills, self-esteem, confidence, and respect for others.
The SEN school requires SEN Teaching Assistant
- Outstanding SEN school that caters for children with Autism / ASC, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Outstanding on Ofsted providing the utmost support for the needs and well-being of their pupils
- Mon - Fri Term time only
- Can work closely with a team of SEN Teaching Assistants, speech and language therapists
- Families are seen as vital in the education process for this school so building relationships with families is key
- They provide a wide range of training and support for all staff members
