Main Duties: To plan lessons and teach a class of 6 students in years 1, 2& 3 with Autism and some who are non-verbal To be resilient, hard-working and have an understanding of mental health and teaching neurodiverse children Responsibility for tracking pupil progress and monitoring to support teaching and learning Deliver dynamic and creative lessons Built positive relationships with students, parents and carers Experience teaching children with Autism What can they offer you? The child that the successful candidate will be supporting is in year 1 and has ASD, he also wears a nappy so some personal care is required. The role requires someone who has experience with ASD and can be patient and calming.
